Democratic Senator Joe Manchin has news for his party: “We're in a 50-50 Senate, and you all are approaching legislation as if you have 55 or 60 senators that are Democrats, and you can do whatever you want.”

On Sunday, the West Virginia senator reminded President Joe Biden and progressive Democrats that what they need is his vote. Giving the White House a mere, thirty minute heads up, Manchin appeared on “Fox News Sunday” to decapitate its $1.75 trillion “Build Back Better” boondoggle. As Manchin explained, “If I can’t go home and explain to the people of West Virginia, I can’t vote for it.” Back home, former President Donald Trump swept the coal mining Mountain State by nearly forty points — an inconvenient truth many blue state Democrats seem unwilling to acknowledge.

For months, the Squad and their progressive allies have rebuked and denounced the red state Democrat. Activists have even showed up at his houseboat, “Almost Heaven,” to give him hell. During an interview on West Virginia Radio, on Monday, Manchin blasted his bullies. “Guess what? I'm from West Virginia. I'm not from where they're from, and they can just beat the living crap out of people and think they'll be submissive.”

Reportedly, some moderate Democrats are secretly grateful that Manchin has thrown a monkey wrench into the far Left works. Minnesota Democrat Dean Phillips warns, “We need him, plain and simple. We need his vote. So all those who are throwing fire at him do so at our own collective peril.”
